This third edition of Berlyne's semiprogrammed text on renal disease retains the merits of the previous editions—mainly, conciseness and brevity, as well as programming—which provide personalized tutoring by an experienced nephrologist. Chapter topics include anatomy, physiology, and biochemical and morphological investigations; the major types of acquired and inherited renal diseases, as well as acute and chronic renal failure; and the kidney in hypertension, pregnancy, and polyuria.
