Illustrated "atlases" of genetic and nongenetic syndromes seem to be in vogue at present, and this work is the latest and best of a series that have recently appeared. It is a compendium of 173 disorders, mostlygenetic in origin, characterized by both mental retardation and physical abnormalities.
