This is a useful text for the beginner in vectorcardiography. The illustrations are excellent. The vector loops are clear and easily interpreted. Basic aspects of normal and abnormal vectorcardiograms, together with their corresponding ECGs, are presented. Many are accompanied by X rays of the heart and lungs, to correlate clinical data. The self-assessment quiz in the last chapter is an additional feature; it is worthwhile and enhances the usefulness of the text.
