The serious student of immunology will find this volume of great value. It is composed of seventeen chapters by as many authors and is divided into two parts—five chapters in Part I: Function of the antigen; and twelve chapters in Part II: Function of the host. For the most part the authors are knowledgeable investigators writing in areas in which they have made research contributions.
