To the editor: Drug samples have become a needed tool in our teaching clinic but have presented problems. For their solution, we have developed a new clinic dispensary that is run by supervised pharmacy students and stocked entirely by drug samples donated for use by our interns and residents. This plan's benefits in education and safety, as well as in better service to the community's medically indigent persons, make it desirable for any large, teaching, outpatient department.
