This is a well-conceived and useful atlas on bone marrow morphology. It is not a textbook, and there are no references or extended discussions; rather it is an illustrated laboratory manual based on the teaching of an experienced morphologist. Its principal weakness is the lack of color photographs, but this is compensated by the clarity and pertinence of most of the 227 black and white ones.
