Science has a tendency to be smug about its ability to form rational conclusions, based on careful research, about the social implications of various phenomena. Nothing more clearly points out the error of this view than attempts of the scientific establishment to make recommendations to policy-making groups on important, controversial issues. The problem of recreational drug use and abuse is an example of such an issue.
Dr. Gabriel Nahas provides us with an extensive look at the scientific literature on marihuana. However, the book is written as a critical review to support the position that marihuana is much more dangerous
to gain full access to the content and tools.
