Directed to the family physician, internist, pediatrician, house officer, and intensive care nurse, this book is intended to be a practical guide to electrocardiography in infants and children. The first three chapters, illustrated with electrocardiograms, set the stage with useful information about normal values, technical errors, and guidelines for performing electrocardiograms. Determitrated and significance of the QRS axis also is discussed. The seven remaining chapters contain an introduction to each section and full-page, good-quality electrocardiographic tracings illustrating each disorder. Some single complexes, inset in dark print, emphasize abnormalities. More than 50 pages are devoted to electrocardiography in specific cardiac malformations.
