REPRODUCTIVE PHYSIOLOGY is a voluminous field; however, Doctors Hafez and Evans do an excellent job of surveying the current literature. The title of the book clearly defines its content. Although this is a multiauthored book and clearly designed for the scholar desiring in-depth reading of reproduction, its text is remarkably consistent and easily read throughout. The book is divided into five sections. The first section is an up-to-date presentation of reproductive physiology. Classical physiology is discussed in the light of recent findings.
