A classic textbook of physiology has been considerably improved and updated in this new edition, which features new diagrams of excellent quality and clarity, helpful edge markings for rapid section location, and a good list of references at the end of each chapter.
Its nine sections, written by different authors, keep a common emphasis on overall control processes. There are, however, some differences in the quality and clarity of the different sections.
