Miss Wynne-Davies is an orthopedist, and her book is especially designed for orthopedists, with many of the references coming from either the American or British issues of the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery. The references seem to be up to date, with some from 1972. The descriptions of disorders are concise. There are no clinical photos or roentgenograms, but drawings are used effectively to emphasize the major clinical and roentgenographic features. Their use contributes to the conciseness of the book and to its low cost. Treatment is not dealt with specifically, although the natural history of the disorders and
to gain full access to the content and tools.
