The expressed desire of the author to survey the whole field of radiobiology as it pertains to radiology is indeed a laudable but formidable objective. An effort to simplify the language and avoid lengthy esoteric discussions was evident in much of the book, but the final overall result did not seem to reach these goals. For a general text, some areas lack depth and completeness, whereas others contain more information than is perhaps expected of a general survey.
