The symposium on current problems in the epidemiology of cancer and lymphomas was arranged by the Society for Cancer Research of the Federal state of Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany and held in November of 1971. The symposium was attended by well-known authorities in the field of cancer epidemiology. The topics covered included cancers of the respiratory tract, thyroid gland, alimentary tract, liver, prostate, breast, and lymphomas. Most of the published reports present studies in progress.
