The author's stated objectives for the book are adequately fulfilled. Electrocardiographic examples are presented for all the various types of arrythmias. The electrocardiograms are well reproduced, sufficiently large, and labeled well enough to be self-explanatory. Many of the electrocardiographic examples are supplemented by ladder diagrams to enhance understanding by the reader. Electrocardiographic criteria are succinctly summarized in outline form for easy access and reference.
Atrial and ventricular arrythmias, various forms of conduction abnormalities, Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, and artificial pacemaker rhythms are covered. As the authors have indicated in their preface, "Theoretical considerations have been kept to a minimum . . .
