After reporting in newspaper stories and articles about their experiences in the People's Republic of China, the Sidels have now written a more comprehensive account of their travel observations. The book is based on two visits to China at the invitation of the Chinese Medical Association during the fall of 1971 and in 1972, for a total of about seven weeks.
