The importance of this monograph is in its emphasis on prevention. The impact it will have ultimately may depend on whether academic professors deem it necessary as required reading for students entering the mental health profession. I am always delighted to find other specialists linking population dynamics and family planning with human sexual behavior.
The usual problems are stated in the first five chapters, which is not too bad since chapter six begins on page 85. It is this last chapter, "Services and Education for Humane Reproduction," that I consider to be the most important part of the book. Comprehensiveness
