To the editor: Over the last few months we have reported experiments about the existence and nature of "transfer factor." These experiments were done both independently and jointly over a 10-month period by three people (1-3). Our preparation of biologically active material originally occurred with a success rate of 30% (20 successful preparations). More recently, however, since April 1974, no member of the group has been able to prepare active material.
