It is not clear why at least eight texts of medical parasitology have been published in the past five years, when the subject commands so little time in medical school curricula and so little interest on the part of practicing physicians. The latest, Dr. Harold W. Brown's Basic Clinical Parasitology, is attractively designed and well organized. The tables and pen drawings are exceptionally clear.
