Students in the early phases of scientific inquiry and, especially,
pre-doctoral psychology students will find this text helpful. But the lack of an in-depth treatment of the
various subjects will perhaps deter the more advanced reader, for it would have been more helpful with a
restricted scope. A real synthesis of the behavioral aspects of neuropharmacology and the underlying
biochemical relations has not been achieved; herein would have been a major contribution to the field.
The discussion will certainly appeal to those who would categorize human behavior into little boxes and
dissect its components in animals according to operant conditioning
