In 1969, we described in 4 families (A through D) a syndrome of soft-tissue sarcomas, breast cancer, and other neoplasms affecting children and young adults (1). We present the findings on follow-up of families A, B, and C. Family D has been lost to contact.
During the past 7 years, 8 of approximately 50 surviving members of the three families have been diagnosed with new malignancies.
