The bicentennial year also appears to be the year of the nephrology text. A plethora of new general and special text books have appeared in 1976. Because most deal with adult nephrology, a good pediatric text would indeed be welcomed. Although the title page lists Dr. Lieberman as editor, with 20 contributors, she has done the major share of the writing. The book is divided into three sections.
