The pulmonary circulation and pulmonary vascular histology remain one of the most neglected areas in cardiology. This treatise presents the first unifying approach to the constellation of vascular changes resulting from a myriad of conditions affecting the pulmonary circulation. Excellent perspective is given to the changes associated with specific conditions and is integrated nicely with hemodynamic concepts.
