Beginning with extremely elementary material and progressing to a relatively sophisticated treatment, this bock serves as an introduction to the principles and practice of radioimmunoassay. It should be useful to the practicing physician, research scientist, medical students, and laboratory technologist and is primarily directed toward those responsible for initiation and operation of a radioimmunoassay service in a medium-sized hospital. This work is neither encyclopedic nor definitively authoritative, but it does provide a reasonably concise coherent introduction to the field.
