Caveat emptor! This book is not, as one might misconconstrue from its ambiguous title, a description of diagnostic and treatment issues arising in the care of sickness among the home-bound geriatric population. Instead, it turns out to be a resumé of the history and organizational structure of the Chelsea-Village Program, a medical outreach project primarily aimed at provision of home health care for the older "shut-in" in lower Manhattan (New York City).
