To the editor: We have read with interest the recent report by Dr. Stuart on diabetic gustatory sweating (1). Anticholinergic drugs have been recommended for control of this symptom of diabetic autonomic neuropathy, but such treatment has often been limited because of unpleasant side effects. We wish to report a similar case of diabetic gustatory sweating and to propose an alternative therapy.
