Because of a delay in arrival of galley proof overseas, some altered wording not approved by the author appeared in the symposium paper on Legionnaires' disease by Dr. C.L.R. Bartlett in the April 1979 issue (1). In the text appearing on page 593 in the left-hand column, the author's original wording had been "To justify the inclusion of presumptive cases in this study, from whom acute phase sera were not available . . ."; the copy editor changed it to read, "To justify the inclusion in this study of patients with presumptive cases . . ."
