The title of this book is an unfortunate choice, as many physicians who could profit from reading it will get no further than the cover. Information useful to physicians who treat hospitalized patients but who do not manage the infection control aspects of patient care on a daily basis is concisely summarized. This fairly complete introductory manual on infection control in the hospital approaches the problems on a very practical rather than theoretical level.
