Overview of basic concepts of electrocardiography and their clinical application. Emphasis is placed on unipolar leads. Includes a chapter on spatial vectorcardiography and corrected orthogonal lead systems. Sections on exercise tests and on preexcitation syndromes have been extensively revised. Appendixes give examples of normal electrocardiograms and common abnormalities, discuss differential diagnosis of the adult 12-lead electrocardiogram, and include a table for determining heart rate.
