Coronary artery disease and exercise stress testing are practically synonymous, and current publishing activity reflects the degree of interest in this area. Dr. Chung has joined this movement with a multiauthor monograph aimed at a wide audience—from coronary care nurses to cardiologists—and emphasizing the practical aspects of exercise testing.
The title is misleading, because it rapidly becomes apparent that the book addresses stress testing in general. Electrocardiographic aspects, although emphasized, are not the major focus but share with discussions of exercise physiology, myocardial perfusion imaging, and exercise protocols, to name a few.
