The work of a group of well-known specialists in alcoholism has been assembled to provide medical practitioners with all the information they possibly could need to detect and treat alcoholism and alcoholics in the several stages of their disease and recovery. Much of the latest research is included, such as that on the fetal alcohol syndrome, as well as in some areas that are frequently neglected.
