Respiratory dysfunction is an important concern for neurologists; the work of several European teams during the past 15 years, for example, has brought awareness of the impact of sleep and sleep states on many breathing problems. However, one may question why this book, with chapters written by many neurologists, has failed to present several of the important clinical problems encountered in this field.
