VICTOR R. GRANN, M.D.
To the editor: The article by Weil and Schleiter (1) on the national study of internal medicine manpower along with the editorial by Alfred Gellhorn are extremely disturbing for a reason, I am sure, that the authors did not consider. I would have hoped that such reasoning ended in the 1940s and find its use and inclusion in any survey repugnant.
