An experienced Japanese colonoscopist and teacher has written this well-illustrated monograph (253 illustrations, 118 in full color) on the art and science of colonoscopy. The book is primarily suited for beginning students of colonoscopy, but even seasoned endoscopists will find useful information in it.
The author uses fluoroscopy and needs a physician helper (two-person procedure) in addition to the nurse assistant, a luxury that most American colonoscopists do not have and perhaps do not need.
