This monograph is based on the authors' extensive experience in lymph node pathology both at the Lymph Node Registry at Oxford, and at the University of Southern California. Emphasis is given to decision making and pattern recognition rather than to the accepted classifications. The chapters are divided according to lymph node structural alterations rather than specific diseases. Although such a scheme may be useful in the differential diagnosis of the lymphomas and reactive processes, it is cumbersome for a review of a specific disease such as Hodgkin's disease.
