Diagnostic renal pathology depends on various histologic, immunochemical, and electron microscopic techniques. The classification of glomerular pathology is complex and relies on a synthesis of all of these techniques. The present atlas is an attempt to illustrate histopathologic manifestations of renal disease with emphasis on percutaneous renal biopsy diagnosis. The atlas consists predominantly of color and black-and-white illustrations that accurately portray pathologic findings. The illustrations are clear and the reproduction is very good.
