Mark Twain is reported to have remarked that he who carries a cat by the tail is getting information he can't gei any other way. It is apparent that the authors have that information. They and their colleagues set out to develop an educational program that focused on and was part of a system of primary care: a program that developed health professionals with great potential, educated in a short period and relatively inexpensively.
