This handbook is designed as a quick reference for junior casualty officers in the United Kingdom. Its terminology reflects the British medical system, and many physicians in the United States will find it difficult to understand. Drugs and their brand names also reflect British terminology, and again there will be some confusion because many of these drugs are not available in this country. The book does meet the objective of the author as put forth in the preface.
