Techniques for gastroenterologic procedures have expanded rapidly in the past decade. This manual covers several techniques (tubes, endoscopy, needles, and therapies) and provides a simplistic look into a wide range of topics from the procedure unit to colonoscopic polypectomy.
The section on tubes is basic but allows rapid insight into (and provides selected references on) the actual preparation, equipment, and procedural aspects of the various tubes. The indications, contraindications, and complications of the various procedures are also included. This part is the best in the book.
