Alphabetically arranged, author-signed short articles on a wide range of topics with ethical aspects having to do with medical practice, research, and organizations. Examples are abortion, blood grouping for paternity, child abuse, declarations of ethical principles, eugenics, fluoridation, genetic engineering, Hippocratic tradition, intersex, journalism (with cross-reference to medical journalism). Most articles are supported by references. Despite its mainly British orientation, this dictionary is highly recommended for all clinical libraries.
