Because of its wide coverage into such topics as emotional problems, dermatology, poisoning, otolaryngology, and gynecology, as well as the fields more central for internal medicine like cardiology and gastroenterology, and the emphasis on papers with immediate clinical relevance, Year Book of Family Practice may be a better choice as a review reference for general internists than its cousin, Year Book of Medicine. This 1983 issue runs to a hefty 500 pages or so.
