"Data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey of 1971-75 provide an opportunity to explore relationships among measures of nutrition, cardiovascular risk factors, and cardiovascular health. The primary focus of the data analysis is directed to exploring relationships between nutritional patterns and cardiovascular risk factors rather than attempting to predict future disease outcome or explain past episodes.
