To the editor: The editorial by Dr. Kunin in the December issue (1) emphasizes that antibiotic resistance today is an international problem: "The underdeveloped nations of the world have become an important market for the sale of obsolete antibiotic combinations as well as the newest agents not yet licensed in this country.
