This edition of the U.S. authority for drug names includes listings for inactive ingredients in addition to its previous listings of active agents. The format for entries remains the same: U.S. Adopted Name (USAN), year the name was published as the USAN, phonetic pronunciation guide, molecular formula and weight, chemical names, CAS registry number, drug category, brand name, manufacturer or distributor, code designations, and graphic formulas. Includes international nonproprietary names. A standard reference work for every medical library.
