The usual plethora of diet books that readily climb bestseller lists is currently being preempted by exercise and fitness manuals. These books claim quick, if not easy, methods for permanent weight reduction. Whether exercise or the combination of diet and exercise can achieve what diet alone has not remains to be seen.
