A concise book outlining the methodology, procedures, and potential results of stroke rehabilitation programs would be a welcome addition for physiatrists, neurologists, and internists. Kaplan and Cerullo only partially achieve that goal.
This book is uneven in its approach to the problem of rehabilitation. The most informative chapter is on rehabilitation techniques for improving upper extremity function.
