The President heaved a deep sigh of relief. What a trying time it had been for him personally and for the country these last few years. Preventing the spread of the virus had been the only topic on the World Council agenda in the last five years. Why didn't they realize back in the 80s the full extent of the problem? AIDS wasn't just going to go away peacefully and easily. And now, in 2008, the only hope rested in their current plan.
