This valuable reference book is divided into two main sections. "Laboratory Test Listings" is alphabetically organized by laboratory test. Under the heading for each test is a listing of drugs, nondrug chemicals, equipment, physiologic states, and other variables that have been assessed for effects on the test's results; the listing briefly summarizes the known effects (or the lack of effect) with reference numbers for the documentation listed at the end of the book.
