The hard work of setting down the large and unique experience of the Alabama team with angiography in congenital heart malformations has fallen to a skilled cardiac radiologist and to a leading cardiac surgeon. Their peers will benefit from this venture, as will both pediatric and adult cardiologists, especially the latter, who must understand the pre- and post-surgical anatomy of the hearts of the now adult patients entrusted to them by the pediatrician.
