To the Editors: The article by Ludmerer (1), "A Library for Internists VII," was indeed informative. I recognize that Dr. Ludmerer coordinated a multidisciplinary effort to complete the seventh edition of this work. As a practitioner of general internal medicine and a teacher of residents and medical students for over 20 years, I offer a slightly different model (Table 1).
