The illustrated atlas of disease entities is a distinct form of medical reference, storage, and dissemination of information. This elaborately illustrated book outlines pertinent background medical factors accompanying the photographs of many entities and ocular abnormalities. The book is organized by disease system and offers a broad coverage of many areas of systemic disease. Unfortunately, the text is not organized by ocular abnormality nor does it include differential diagnoses of morphologic entities.
Bibliographies accompany many sections but do not cover each topic in a section. I recognized scattered areas of incompleteness and inaccuracy. For example, the section on Whipple Disease
